(KLZA) -- Doris A. DeJonge has filed for a seat on the Humboldt City Council in Ward I.
DeJonge was appointed to the seat when Keith Carlin resigned mid-term.
Humboldt has one City Council seat up for election in each ward this year. The other seat that will come open is the Ward II seat currently held by Ed DeJonge who has not filed for re-election at this point.
Incumbents have until February 18th to file for re-election. Non-incumbents have until March 3rd to file for the May, primary election.
