(KNZA)--A Hoyt residence is raided, and Jackson County authorities say a marijuana growing operation was shutdown in the process.
According to Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse, it happened Monday night when his department executed a search warrant at 206 East 1st Street.
Deputies seized alleged marijuana plants, plant growing equipment and paraphernalia.
The exact number of plants seized has not yet been made public.
No arrests have yet been made, but Morse says that's expected to happen soon as the investigation continues.
