(KLZA)--A 62-year-old Falls City man is dead, electrocuted after touching a power line downed when his pick up struck a power pole.
The victim is identified as Charlie Furrow, who was westbound Wednesday morning on 703 Trail, south of Rulo.
Richardson County Sheriff Randy Houser says Furrow's pick-up slid off the slick roadway, west of the Nemaha River Bridge, and struck a power pole.
Houser says Furrow survived the impact but died when he exited the truck and was electrocuted by the downed power line.
Furrow was dead when Iowa Tribal Police arrived on the scene.
