(KNZA)--A fugitive on the run from Brown County authorities has been located, taken into custody in Missouri.
Brown County Sheriff John Merchant says Ryan Massengill was found in the community of Savannah, which sits around 20 miles north of Saint Joseph.
On October 9th, Merchant issued a statement seeking public help in locating the 23-year-old Massengill, wanted on a warrant for aggravated escape from custody and failure to appear.
Massengill last May was sentenced to probation for burglary in Nemaha County.
Merchant says the public provided a weatlh of information related to the case, and he expresses gratitude for the help given in locating Massengill.
