(KAIR)--The Atchison hospital is gearing up to present its annual Best Care Community Heath Fair this weekend, and participants can expect quite a bit of fun and informative activities designed to teach them about proper health care. T.C. Roberts is the Director of Marketing for the hospital, and she says she is very excited about this year's fair, saying that it has the largest number of booths and activities that they have had in the past six or seven years. There will be over 40 community agencies and organizations participating in the fair, along with 20 hospital booths.
Leslie Blakley, voice of the Best Care On The Air, adds that there will also be free screenings available. People can take the information they receive from these screenings back to their primary care physician to help give them the best care possible. Though she does warn that these screenings are not a replacement for your doctor.
The Best Care Community Health Fair will take place Saturday morning from 8:00 until noon at the Atchison elementary school, located at 825 N. 17th Street. It is free and open to the public.
