(KMZA)--Seven years behind bars.
That's the sentence handed down earlier this month for a former Morrill man charged with statutory rape in DeKalb County, Missouri.
Shane Snodgrass entered a guilty plea to the felony charge of statutory rape in the 2nd degree, and, according to court documents, was sentenced to prison on October 10th. The crime occurred in August of last year.
Snodgrass is charged in Oregon with felony custodial interference arising from the ride he allegedly gave to a Sabetha teen in December of last year when she met him in Nebraska City. From there, authorities say Snograss, a truck driver, took the girl to a residence in Oregon where she met a friend who formerly lived in Morrill.
