(KMZA)--The Nemaha County Community of Wetmore is the destination Saturday, as the 18th Annual Wetmore Spring Creek Festival will happen that day. Numerous activities are planned, kicking off in the morning, with a 5K Run/Walk at 8:00. That will be followed by a volleyball tournament, and other attractions, including a flag retirement ceremony at 3:00 and the crowning of Homecoming Royalty at 4:00.
At 5:00, the annual parade will be held, with participants encouraged to line up by 4:30 at the school's circle drive.Festival Coordinator Leigh Ann Schultejans says last minute entries will be welcome.
Following the parade, dinner will be served, and the day will wrap up with a street dance and beer garden, running from 9:00 Saturday night until 1:00 Sunday morning:
