(KMZA)--The Seneca City Council has voted to enter into an engineering agreement with a Salina firm for the extension of water and sanitary sewer services to a new residential subdivision.
The council Wednesday evening approved an agreement with Wilson and Company to provide engineering services for the improvements to the Ohlsen Subdivision located west of Community Drive for a maximum fee of $17,883.
The council last month approved a zoning change and final plat for the subdivision owned by Brett Ohlsen. The plat includes up to 37 residential lots in the subdivision. Plans are to develop up to ten lots initially.
The development agreement calls for the city to provide water to the property lines. Ohlsen will be responsible for streets, sidewalks and sewers.
