( KNZA )--Only local traffic will be allowed on a Brown County road while a bridge replacement project is underway about 2 ½ miles southeast of Morrill.
County commissioner Warren Ploeger said work began Monday on the replacement of a bridge on Foxtail Road, about a quarter mile south of the junction with 290th Road.
Ploeger said a shoefly will be installed to provide access to local traffic.
The current wood plank bridge will be replaced with a 50-by-24 foot concrete deck bridge.
The project is expected to take six weeks, weather permitting.
