(KNZA )-A single-vehicle accident on I-29 about two miles north of St Joseph Wednesday morning sent a DeKalb, Missouri man to the hospital.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Brent Bush was traveling north when his Chevy Impala traveled off the left side of the roadway into the median. The vehicle struck a culvert and became airborne, coming to rest on its wheels.
Bush was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph with moderate injuries.
The Patrol says its unknown if Bush was wearing a seat belt.
The accident was reported about 7:15 Wednesday morning.
