(KAIR)--Motorists crossing the Amelia Earhart Memorial Bridge in Atchison should expect minor delays Tuesday through Thursday.
That's due to planned bridge inspection work, with KDOT saying the right lane of both the eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed, one direction at a time, as crews conduct the inspection.
It's planned to happen from 9:00 until 3:30 each day if weather allows.
Drivers will be directed across the bridge, which carries traffic on U.S. Highway 59, by signage and cones.
On Tuesday, the high steel above the recently constructed bridge will be inspected, while inspections underneath the bridge will be conducted Wednesday and Thursday.
