(KAIR)--A free film, focused on veterans of World War II, is set to be screened on the campus of Benedictine College on Monday, July 15th.
“Honor Flight” the Movie is a feature length documentary that tells the story of four veterans of World War II that, through the efforts of a Midwest community, are able to travel to the nation's capital and view, firsthand, the World War II Memorial.
The presentation at Benedictine College, happening in the O'Malley-McAlister Auditorium at 7:00 Monday evening, is free, sponsored by the Atchison Rotary Club, with assistance from American Legion Post #6 and the Atchison Kiwanis Club.
Veterans are encouraged to attend, with those who are there for the screening to receive recognition and honors after the film concludes. There will also be information provided on how those veterans can utilize the Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization that works solely to take veterans to the Washington D.C. Monument.
