(KNZA )- A Horton man will stand trial on charges in a Brown County child abuse case.
Following his preliminary hearing Wednesday, 27-year-old Matthew Adams was bound over to Brown County District Court on charges of aggravated battery and felony abuse of a child.
Arraignment was scheduled for May 13th.
Adams was charged in January following a joint investigation by the Horton Police Department and Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
Court documents indicate Adams is accused of shaking a child born in 2012, causing great bodily harm to the child.
He remains in the Brown County Jail on 150-thousand dollars bond.
