(KTNC) - The Falls City Tree Board is making plans for it annual Arbor Day celebration, which is on April 27th this year. The Tree Board is planning to hold an event at 11:00 that morning in Pioneer Park, at 19th and Barada across from City Hall.
As they prepare for Arbor Day, the Tree Board is looking for people interested in donating a memorial tree or purchasing a tree for the park for the celebration. To make a donation, contact City Administrator Gary Jorn at 402-245-2707.
A list of city ordinance-approved trees, along with other requirements, is available at City Hall to help in selecting a tree.
