(KTNC) - A truck driver from Craig, Missouri was injured in a one-vehicle accident on an ice-covered highway early Sunday morning.
The Missouri State Patrol reports that 63-year-old Charles Thurnau was driving a 2005 International 7400 that was northbound on Missouri Route 113 about four miles north of New Point at about 5:40 a.m., when the truck began sliding on the ice-covered highway.
The vehicle slid off the roadway and overturned.
Thurnau, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to the Fairfax Hospital for treatment of injuries.
