(KLZA) The Auburn City Council Monday night gave approval to apply for a grant to help with the Historic Preservation District designation project. Mayor Scott Kudrna provided details. ( play audio :37 seconds )
If awarded the City would receive approximately seven thousand dollars with the city portion amounting to about six thousand dollars.
The Auburn Council also approved working with Nemaha County on the Local Emergency Operations Plan and to accept two proposals for Infill Housing recommended by the Keep Auburn Beautiful Committee. ( play audio :40 seconds )
