Hearing Postponed in Horton Child Sex Case

 ( KNZA )--The preliminary hearing for a 24-year-old Horton man accused of illegal sexual relations with a child has been postponed until May 1st. 

The hearing for Wyatt Brown had originally been set for Wednesday in a Brown County courtroom.

He’s charged with a single count of aggravated criminal sodomy with a child born in 2002, and remains in the Brown County Jail on $750,000 bond.

Brown was arrested March 2nd following a joint investigation by the Horton Police Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Department and Kansas Highway Patrol.

Brown is a registered sex offender, convicted in Brown County in 2006 on a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with an 11-year-old girl.
