(KTNC) - The Falls City Council will hold a public hearing during its next regular meeting regarding an application for a Community Development Block Grant for the Main Street Project. The city is requesting a total of 30-thousand dollars, with most of that money – $28,500 – going for planning activity and $1500 for administrative costs. The city would provide $9,500 in matching funds.
A draft of the grant application is available for public inspection at City Hall. The public can comment on the grant application, or provide written testimony, during the hearing.
The council approved a motion to apply for the grant last month. The public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. March 18th.
