(KAIR) -- The Atchison Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Council will conduct a forum featuring local candidates vying for office in the April elections.
It will be at seven, the evening of March 19th at City Hall.
Candidates for USD 409 school board and Atchison City Commission have been invited to attend.
The forum will also be broadcast on local access tv.
Atchison City Commissioners Rita Hartman and Larry Purcell, as well as Mayor Allen Reavis are running unopposed.
Four candidates are vying for three seats on the USD 409 board, including incumbents Carrie Sowers, Dr. John Eplee and Diane Liebsch, and challenger Reverend Clarence Hauk.
