I love that this meeting is occurring in the middle of the day. So residents have to take off work to come in and fight to keep the post office open. The news story is misleading, as well. The letter the Whiting residents got in the mail stated in no uncertain terms that the post office will be closed unless residents showed up, at which point the best case scenario was that it would remain open for four hours.
