Alcohol, Prescription Medicine, May Have Contributed to Nebraska City Woman's Death
03/01/2013

NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say an autopsy shows alcohol and a prescription blood pressure medication were in the body of a woman that was found in the backyard of a neighbor in Nebraska City.
That combination may have contributed to the death of 48-year-old Janet Gruber. Otoe County Attorney David Partsch says Gruber succumbed to the elements while she was intoxicated.
The body was fully clothed when it was found at about 4:30 p.m. on January 1.
Partsch says the last known contact with Gruber was a phone conversation she had with a friend at about 5:30 p.m. December 31.
