(KTNC) - Free income tax preparation assistance is available to families and individuals in southeast Nebraska.
Southeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership is offering the free tax preparation, by trained tax preparers, through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
Last year, 227 households utilized the program through SENCA’s six county service area. The program brought approximately $186,000 back to southeast Nebraska through the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credits.
