Robert Whitfield
( KNZA )-A Hiawatha man facing a child sex charge has waived his preliminary hearing.
43-year-old Robert Whitfield was bound over to Brown County District Court this week on a charge of aggravated criminal sodomy involving a child born in 2003.
Arraignment is scheduled for March 4th.
Whitfield was arrested last November following an investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
Whitfield remains in the Brown County Jail on $200,000 bond.
