(KAIR) -- Atchison County Commissioners on Wednesday signed off on their portion of a joint project with the City of Atchison and Atchison Hospital to upgrade to a voice over internet phone system.
Commissioner Jeff Schuele says if the project comes into place by June, savings will go up significantly in year one.

Commissioners on Wednesday also approved several cash fund transfers within various departments, as they closed the 2012 budget year.
