(KLZA) Humboldt – Table Rock – Steinauer School District Superintendent Clint Kimbrough informed Board members Monday night of his intention to resign when his contract runs out.
The board accepted his resignation, effective June 30th, 2015.
Kimbrough has served as Superintendent of HTRS for 13 years helping oversee the merger with the former Dawson-Verdon School District and the former Southeast Consolidated School District.
In other business, the HTRS Board approved a two year contract with the HTRS Education Association, which includes an $800 increase in the base salary in each of the two years.
The HTRS Board also approved the expenditure of more than $17,000 this summer to have Hunzeker Masonry do some exterior work on the 1939 portion of the Humboldt building.
In addition, the Board approved the purchase of new football uniforms at a cost of $195 each. That includes two jerseys and pants and will amount to more than $9,000 for 48 uniforms.
