(KAIR) -- A new Atchison County non-profit organization is holding a night of fun dedicated to the memory of an Effingham woman, in an effort to promote cancer awareness.

That’s Martha Coder, President of R.S.V.P., which stands for Remembering Sue’s Valor & Perseverance.
She explains the organization’s mission.

The first event of the new organization is February 23rd at the Blue Building in Effingham.

The suggested donation for the evening is 20 dollars and the event is for those 18 and over.
Deadline for registration is February 15th.
