Farmers Market Meetings set in Hiawatha & Horton
( KNZA )-A Farmer's Market in Horton has been going for about four years now and organizers are wanting to start one in Hiawatha as well.
A meeting for the Horton Farmer's Market is set for Tuesday, February 12th at the Senior Citizens Center in Horton. Then a meeting for the Hiawatha Farmer's Market is set for Monday, February 18th at the Carwell Building on the Brown County Ag Museum grounds. Both meetings will be 6:30 in the evening.
Gardeners, farmers and others interested in local goods are encouraged to come to the meetings.
The Horton Farmer's Market is located off U.S. 73 Highway, near the soccer fields on the east edge of town.
The location for the Farmer's Market in Hiawatha is planned to be at the Hiawatha Thriftway parking lot.
