Jackson Co Conservation District Annual Meeting Feb. 14th
The 65th annual meeting of the Jackson County Conservation District will be held February 14th.
The meeting will be at the First United Methodist Church in Holton, beginning with dinner at 6 that evening. The business meeting will follow at 7.
During the business meeting, the District Board of Supervisors will present the 2012 annual report and the treasurer’s report. In addition, an election of one supervisor will be held by secret ballot for the position currently held by William Conley.
The Kansas Bankers, Grassland, Outstanding Conservationist and Filter Strip Awards will be presented.
Entertainment will be provided by Richard Holmgren of The Flying Debris Show.
