(KAIR) -- The ramp from westbound U.S Hwy 36 to southbound Interstate 29 in Saint Joseph will be closed on Tuesday.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, a concrete replacement project on southbound I-29 at the junction with U.S. Highway 36 is planned which will create a smoother ride for motorists.
For the safety of their workers and the traveling public, both the ramp and the driving lane of I-29 will be closed.
One lane of southbound I-29 will remain open throughout the project.
The ramp will be closed from 7:30 and should be completed by three.
