That’s Linda Loving, outgoing President of “The Center Place,” a non-profit organization based in Oskaloosa with the hopes of one day building a Community Center for events in Jefferson County.
Last month we told you about the center’s risk of dissolving by January 16th if volunteers could not be found to replace five board members that are either leaving the community or resigning.
"The Center Place" already has "The Little Red Barn," which hosts several types of activities and classes.
Loving says the people that stepped up Wednesday night were from all around the county.

Loving says the board will meet February 20th to elect the new members and will hold meetings every third Wednesday to continue the vision to build the facility.
