(KAIR) -- The Jefferson County North school board Monday night continued their discussion on a bond proposal they hope to present to voters for the April election.
Superintendent Denise Jennings says a special board meeting will take place next week for community members to provide input on what should be included in the bond package with the goal of finalizing the bond proposal next month.

The board also heard a presentation from JCN’s Thespian Troupe, who recently attended the Kansas Thespian State Conference in Wichita.
The troupe was awarded the Gold Honor Troupe, the highest level of excellence a troupe can attain.
Also, sponsor Jennifer Morgan-Beuchat was honored with the “Kansas Thespian 2013 Innovative Educator Award”, one of only two given statewide.
