(KAIR) -- A 23-year-old Atchison man involved in a December drug sweep by Atchison Police pled not guilty to all charges after his preliminary hearing Tuesday morning in Atchison County District Court.
A jury trial for Kyle Ferris was set for February 12th.
He’s charged with two counts of distribution of a narcotic, two counts of no drug tax stamp, and a count of using a telecommunication facility to facilitate a controlled substance transaction.
During his preliminary hearing the lead narcotics officer in the case, Kurtis Page, took the stand to describe the allegations against Ferris, who is accused of selling meth and morphine to a confidential informant in late November and early December.
The informant also took the stand to describe his interactions with the person believed to be Ferris.
Ferris was one of 20 suspects arrested December 19th following a covert investigation.
