Planning Commission to Vote on Sign Ordinance Changes

(KAIR) -- After months of workshops, Atchison Planning Commissioners will vote on amendments the city’s sign ordinance.

They will look to recommend the ordinance to the city commission after a public hearing Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 at City Hall.

Planning Commissioners will also look to approve conditional use permits for two businesses in the community.

Interim Community Development Director Curtis Wheeler, who is in the position while Stefanie Leif is on maternity leave, says the first is for a professional office for Dave Hausmann.

Planning Commissioners will also look to approve a permit for Northwest Pipe Company to expand their business.

They will also look to elect a Vice-Chair effective through July 2013.
