Annual Reorganization Meeting For Richardson County Commissioners Tuesday

(KLZA) Richardson County Commissioners will meet at 9 a-m Tuesday. During the meeting Commissioners will reorganize for the next year electing a Chairman, Vice-Chairman and make annual board member appointments.
Annual appointments including Highway Superintendent, Emergency Management Director, Veterans Service Officer and Noxious Weed Control Superintendent will be made along with special board appointments.
Sheriff Randy Houser will meet with Commissioners at 11 a-m and request a proposal for a jail design. The quarterly jail inspection will also be conducted during the meeting.
At 10:30 a-m the Board will discuss clerical positions in the Cooperative Extension Service, Veterans Service, Assessors Office, Treasures office and Courthouse Maintenance.
In other business Commissioners will review an agreement for a bridge and engineering on the Nemaha County line and an agreement with Falls City Economic Development and Growth Enterprise for funding will be considered again.
