(KNZA)--A Circleville woman is in custody, arrested on charges related to the rape of children.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says 27-year-old Tharesa Leeanne Darnell was taken into custody December 21st.
The investigation, leading to her arrest, followed a report received by the Sheriff’s Office in September.
The victims are identified only as children under the age of 14.
Darnell was taken into custody on charges including rape, aggravated indecent liberties, aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated child endangerment and child abuse.
Darnell was booked into the Jackson County Jail where she remains, held on
75-thousand-dollars bond.
