(KMZA)--The preliminary hearing for a Wetmore man facing multiple charges, including aggravated kidnapping, has been continued.
32-year-old Cassidy Grimm is now scheduled to appear in Nemaha County District Court at 10:00 on the morning of February First.
He also faces felony charges of aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, criminal threat, and burglary, as well as misdemeanor theft.
Despite the continuance of Grimm’s preliminary hearing, a bond reduction hearing was held this week.
Originally set at 500-thousand-dollars, the judge allowed the bond to be reduced to 100-thousand-dollars, but with numerous conditions.
Among them, Grimm must stay at his mother’s house in Sabetha, and can only leave for counseling and employment. He must stay away from the victim, and undergo drug and alcohol testing, among other conditions.
Grimm was arrested October 23rd by Sabetha Police, accused of breaking into the home of his ex-wife, holding her against her will, battering her, and threatening her and the children in the home.
