(KNZA)--Ongoing back and forth negotiations come to an end this week as a resolution is finally reached regarding Holton teacher contracts
That happened during the Holton USD 336 Board of Education meeting Monday, which began with 2012-2013 contracts still in dispute.
However, according to the Holton Recorder, it was revealed during the session that district teachers agreed to accept the conditions of the contract proposed during a November negotiation session.
Once that came to light, the school board unanimously approved ratification of the teacher contracts which, as written, will increase teachers' base salary by 450-dollars, bringing it to 34-thousand-700-dollars.
