(KAIR) -- An Oskaloosa woman will head to a jury trial after pleading not guilty to charges related to child abuse Thursday in Jefferson County District Court.
The prosecution will present their case against Lori Courter March 2nd.
Courter was arrested by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on July 17th.
She’s charged with aggravated battery, abuse of a child and child endangerment.
Courter is alleged to have poured scalding hot water on a three year old girl on July 13th.
A Pre-trial conference is scheduled for February 21st.
Courter is currently out on bond.
