(KLZA) Falls City Volunteer Firemen as well as members of the Falls City Rural Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire call about 9:05 p-m Wednesday night. At first it was unclear if it was a city or rural call to property owned by Robert Fisher on East 14th Street, on the east edge of Falls City.
A 2011 Chevy Equinox parked on the property, owned by Robert Fisher was on fire.
Falls City Volunteer Fire Department spokesmen said the vehicle was a total loss that everything on the car, including the engine was melted by the fire.
The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time. The investigation into the cause of the fire is being conducted by Nebraska State Fire Marshall Adam Matzner.
Firemen were on the scene with the State Fire Marshall until approximately 1 a-m.
