(KLZA) The Falls City, City Council will meet Monday night at 7 p-m at City Hall.
The current Council will discuss a request to remove the four trees located south of the parking lot at the Falls City Library and Arts Center. Concerns have been raised in the past about birds roosting in the trees during the summer and covering the sidewalk in bird droppings.
The current Council will adjourn SINE DIE.
Following the swearing in of newly elected Council members Mike Dougherty in Ward I, Angie Nolte in Ward II and re-elected Council members Steve Scholl in Ward III and Jim Wisdom in Ward IV a Council President and Acting President of the Council will be elected.
Council members will be asked to suspend the first two readings to repeal a section of the ordinance making Stone and Chase Streets one way traffic in Falls City.
A request to rent Prichard Auditorium for a Christmas Party on January 18th and allow alcohol to be served will be discussed and a request from the Northwest Fight Club to rent Prichard Auditorium for $500 and allow alcohol to be served January 12th will be discussed.
