( KNZA )-The Brown County Commission has approved the hiring of a new employee for adult community corrections.
On the request of Director Venice Sloan, the commission Monday approved the hiring of Dan Siebenmorgen to fill the vacant position of intensive supervision officer I for Brown and Doniphan Counties.
Siebenmorgen will begin work December 11th at a salary of $17.75 an hour.
He is currently a deputy with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
In other business, County Treasurer Cheryl Lippold shared with commissioners the results of a compliance audit conducted by the Kansas Department of Revenue’s Division of Vehicles. Lippold said for two months in a row her office has received a 100 percent approval rate for vehicle title transactions.
Lippold commended her staff for the positive report.
