(KAIR) -- A change for a major intersection for motorists heading to Saint Joseph or Kansas City has been delayed again.
The “Y” that divides U.S. 59 and Missouri Highway 45 was originally planned to be converted to a four-way stop by September 15th.
It was then delayed until moved to mid-October and again until mid-November.
MODOT Northwest District Customer Relations Manager Melissa Black says the main reason for the delay is with the sign contractors.

Black says the new deadline for the the project’s completion ranges from December 4th through 7th.
This project goes along with the roadwork that was completed in September to improve a 15 mile portion of roadway from the intersection, south through Weston.
