(KNZA)-Currently remaining without a league, the leadership of the South Brown County Schools of USD 430, looks to change that.
Their non-league status will be taken directly to the Kansas State High School Activities Association, with the school district requesting league placement.
High School Principal David Norman says that will happen during a meeting Wednesday(Play Audio)
Norman says while the request to KSHSAA does not allow USD 430 to ask to join a specific league, it does allow them to request a best fit option(Play Audio)
Once Wednesday's KSHSAA meeting happens, no immediate action will follow.
USD 430 plans to request to be placed on the agenda for the next executive meeting of KSHAA, hopeful that league placement could be decided at that point. However, no time line is determined, with all outcomes pending completion of Wednesday's discussion.
