Falls City High Student Honored by Nebraska School Activities Association

(KLZA) The Nebraska School Acitivities Association has named Falls City High School Senior David Von Behren to the November Believers & Achievers List.
David has a 4.0 grade point average. His NSAA Activity Participation list includes; Cross Country, Track & Field, Play
Production, Speech and Music.
Activity Honors and Awards: NSAA NCPA Academic All-State
Cross Country and Speech; 2012 NSAA State Speech
Championships Qualifier in Informative Speaking and Duet
Acting; Earned an Outstanding Performance Award and Superior
Ratings as a Vocal Soloist, Pianist, and Violinist at NSAA District
Music Contests; Cross Country, Track & Field, Music, and Play
Production Letter Winner; Named Violinist for the 2012 National
Association of Music Educators (NAME) National Honor
Orchestra in Washington D.C.; All-State Orchestra; 2012 Nebraska
Young Artist Award Winner; Nebraska State Honors Recital
Performer.
School Involvement: Member of National Honor Society and
Student Council.
Community Involvement: Cornhusker Boys’ State and Hugh
O’Brien Youth Leadership Seminar Participant; Member of the
Attorney General’s Youth Advisory Council and Richardson
County 4-H Teen Leaders Group; Salvation Army, Red Cross
Blood Drive and Hats for Haiti Volunteer; Member of Falls City
Brass Ensemble and Masonic All-State Marching Band; and her serves as a Vacation Bible School Instructor.
