( KNZA )-Tuesday is General Election Day, and area voters will go to the polls to decide national, state and county races along with several special questions.
In Doniphan County, voters will decide whether to allow liquor by the drink in establishments where food accounts for 30 percent of gross receipts.
In Marysville, voters will decide whether a 6-tenths of a percent retailers sales tax should be imposed to fund construction of a new city pool.
In Atchison USD 409, voters will decide the fate of a $8.8 million dollar bond issue for facility improvements.
Statewide, Kansas residents will vote on a constitutional amendment that would allow legislators to reduce property taxes for boat owners.
According to a new state law, all voters must present a photo ID when voting.
The polls will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
