A Seneca man was arrested on drug charges after a search warrant was served on his residence over the weekend.
Seneca Police Chief Brent Schulte says 32-year-old Jay Harkness was arrested by the Seneca Police Department Saturday after a search warrant was served at his residence located at 507 Merton, Lot #4.
Schulte says a small amount of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia was recovered.
Harkness was booked into the Nemaha County jail on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In a separate case, Schulte says 31-year-old Joshua J. Scott of Seneca was arrested Friday by the Seneca Police Department at 711 Amador on a Bench Warrant from Nemaha County for violating conditions of his release on a previous drug charge.
