Commissioners Experimenting New Start Times

(KAIR) -- Atchison County Commissioners are in the process of experimenting with different start times for their meetings.

Monday’s meeting was scheduled to begin at three at the County Commission Room in the Law Enforcement Center in Atchison.

Commissioner Jeff Schuele says it started with an early afternoon start time.

Typically, Commissioners meet two times a week, beginning at 9:15 in the morning.

Currently, changing the number of times Commissioners meet isn’t on the table.

A timetable has not been set on when the experiment will be completed.
