(KNZA)--Abraham Lincoln is coming to Hiawatha's Maple Leaf Festiva and Heritage Day on Saturday(Play Audio)
That's not the literal voice of the 16th President of the United States, but that of Troy Strahan, a Gardener, Kansas resident who began impersonating Lincoln at a young age(Play Audio)
Strayhan, on Saturday, will transform into Honest Abe, and meet those in attendance at Hiawatha's annual Maple Leaf Festival(Play Audio)
The Maple Leaf Festival, complete with numerous other events and activities, including a car show, a chili cookoff and a softball tournament, will run from 9 to 4:00 Saturday in downtown Hiawatha.
Strayhan, as Lincoln, will appear downtown from 11 until noon, and then meet and greet the public at the Ag Museum, on East Iowa, from noon until 1:00. Then, at 1:00, the public is invited to hear Lincoln speak at the Ag Museum.
