(KAIR) -- Several dedications are honors are planned this weekend at Benedictine College.
The day will kick off with honoring the Cray and Seaberg families with the dedication of Cray Seaberg Hall on Saturday morning at 10 at Cray Seaberg Hall, located on the northwest corner of campus along Second Street.
It is the academic home of the Departments of Journalism & Mass Communications, Psychology and Sociology & Criminology.
It is also home to 42 female students in a residential section. Given as part of the Atchison Hospital donation of land and facilities, the entire structure was renovated in 2010.
Later in the day, Atchison Community Day and the “Stars and Stripes” celebration will take place at O’Malley Field at Larry Wilcox Stadium at halftime of the BC football game.
Members and leaders of the Atchison Community will be recognized, as well as any member that has served or are currently serving in any branch of the military.
Anyone with a military ID will get free admission to the game.
The sixth annual recognition will include the unfurling of a 60 foot American flag and the Benedictine pep bad performing the anthems of all military branches.
