( KNZA )-- The father of Kansas Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins has died.
Gale Haag of Holton died Monday at the age of 74.
Haag was a farmer. In addition to farming, he worked at Goodyear Tire Company, Conroy Construction and for the state Fire Marshal’s office as an inspector and later as the State Fire Marshal for 8 years.
Funeral services for Haag will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton.
The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
